acnises acne capsules effects

key ingredients

Brewers yeast

Contains digestive enzymes, proteins, essential fatty acids, B complex vitamins (including B12, folic acid, vitamin B3), provitamin D and minerals (phosphorus, potassium, zinc and chromium).

Anti-acne properties attributed to its high content of B vitamins and zinc, a key mineral for hormonal changes. In a randomized, controlled double-blind study, involving 139 patients with acne.

Tests the effectiveness and tolerance of Saccharomyces cerevisiae was studied in comparison with a placebo. Over a maximum period of 5 months, good results were assessed in 74.3% of
the patients as compared with 21.7% in the placebo group. In more than 80% of the former
patients, the condition was considered to be healed or considerably improved; while the corresponding figure for the placebo group was only 26% of the patients. No side effects were observed. Weber G, Adamczyk A, Freytag S. Treatment of acne with a yeast preparation. Fortschr Med. 1989; 107: 563-6).

arrow Aids the immune system controlling bacterial infections.

arrow Facilitates controlling appetite and weight. When taken between meals it has a very strong satiety (filling) effect, since its high content of B-complex vitamins reduces the anxiety for sweet products. On the contrary, as a polivitaminic and to help gain weight it must be taken during the meals.

arrow Natural antioxidant.
arrow Complements vegetarian and weight loss diets.

arrow Deep skin purifier.

arrow Regulates intestinal function and contributes to the reconstruction of the intestinal flora.

arrow Anti-diarrheic action.

Zinc

Stabilizes premenstrual outbreaks of acne-prone skin and diminishes physical and emotional discomforts of the premenstrual syndrome (abdominal cramping, swelling, depression, irritability) It also favours the proper functioning of sexual hormones.

Anti-inflammatory action: it inhibits polynuclear leukocyte chemotaxis induced by low levels of granulocytic zinc.
arrow Normalizes the low epidermic zinc concentrations seen with acne: inhibits triglyceride lipolysis from free fatty acids by inhibiting the lipases released by P. acnes.
arrow Decreases seborrhoea: inhibits 5-alpha-reductase, an enzyme which catalyzes the reduction of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone, an androgen that increases sebum production.

arrow Chromium: improves glucose tolerance and increases insulin effectiveness.
arrow Folic acid: it is essential to prevent fetal congenital abnormalities (such as a bifid spine). It is recommended to increase the use of folic acid before and during the first trimester of pregnancy.
arrow Essential fatty acids: decrease high cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

Evening primrose oil

Rich in essential fatty acids, prostaglandins, cellular mediators and phytoestrogens.

arrow Antioxidant (inhibits lipidic peroxidation), emollient and anti-inflammatory action.
arrow Comedolytic and desincrusting action. Normalizes linoleic acid deficiency within blackheads, sebum and follicular epithelia, which leads to hyperkeratosis of the follicular infundibulum. Prevents damage induced by Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) generated by the neutrophils, which harm the follicular epithelia and contribute with acne inflammation. The linoleictrongly decreases phagocytosis and suppresses ROS generation by neutrophils.
arrow Prevents and relieves premenstrual symptoms (irritability, depression, swelling sensation, acne, breast pain, cephaleas and other).

Vitamin B

They are related to the activity of the sebaceous glands and the keratinization process.

arrow Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3, niacin): it is essential for the synthesis of sexual hormones. It possesses anti-inflammatory properties, since it inhibits neutrophil chemotaxis, inhibits lymphocytic transformation and prevents mastocyte degranulation.
arrow Biotin: strengthens the effect of niacin. Synergy with pantothenic acid. Stabilizes the sebaceous glands in producing sebum. Improves the quality of the skin (acne and seborrhea), hair and nails.
arrow Pantothenic acid (B5): Stimulates steroid production and sexual hormones. Improves keratinization and epithelization of the skin.
arrow Vitamin B6: factor used by cystin. Antiseborrheic action. Reinforces zinc action on 5-alpha-reductase inhibition. Stabilizes premenstrual outbreaks of acne.

Vitamin E

Prevents lipid peroxidation of sebum, altered by bacterial proliferation, which is irritating and produces inflammation.

arrow Synergic action with vitamin A and beta-carotene.

Beta-carotene vitamin A

Reduces sebum production and hyperkeratosis of the sebaceous follicles.
