Pigmentation means your skin colouring. Skin pigmentation disorders affect the colour of your skin. Skin cells give your skin colour by making a melanin.
When these skin cells become damaged or unhealthy, it affects melanin production and can cause dark patches on your face or body.
Hidroquin has a highly effective combination of bleaching ingredients including Alpha Arbutin recognized as the safest, most effective skin whitening compound, Alpha Arbutin has shown extraordinarily rapid and safe skin whitening properties and, therefore, is used extensively in our range of skin lightening products.
Kojic acid, is highly effective in reducing the pigment in melasma patients. Discovered in 1989, kojic acid has a similar effect as hydroquinone. Studies have shown that Kojic acid is very effective as a skin lightening agent.

This bleaching action is enhanced by the combination of bearberry extract (Uva ursi), licorice extract, citric acid, phytic acid and alpha-arbutin. This is an efficient combination of depigmenting agents that work in the synthesis of melanin, blocking pigment production in areas that there are excess. The phytic acid and licorice extract contained in this product have antioxidant properties. The glycolic acid is an important agent that helps eliminate dead cells from the outer layer of the skin (stratum corneous), allowing the bleaching agents to penetrate the cutaneous level.
Apply a small amount of the product on the spots and gently massage with the fingertips. It must be applied twice a day - in the morning beneath a sunscreen and at night before going to bed. On less sensitive areas of the body, such as the hands and legs, it may be applied three to four times a day. On sensitive skin, apply Hidroquin Depigmenting Gel Forte once daily until the skin has become used to the product. The minimum duration of the treatment is three months.
