Lactic acid cream suitable for dry skin as well as wrinkles, itching, psoriasis-prone.
This cream possesses moisturizing, rejuvenating, exfoliating and purifying properties. The 12% Lactic acid content moisturizes and reduces itching.
Can be applied both face and body.
Apply to affected areas, gently massaging, twice a day.
Lactemol can be used together with topical steroids or alternatively with one day
steroid, Lactemol the next day. 12% Lactic acid.

Moisturizing action: Part of the NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor). It moisturizes the skin’s cornea layer and stops water evaporation.
Lactic acid has similar
hydrating effects to urea, but also breaks down keratin, a protein that
forms part of the skin structure. In conditions like as chronic eczema,
excessive amounts of keratin causes the skin cells to harden, and the
skin become thickened and scaly. This makes the skin itchy and inflamed.
Lactic acid breaks down the keratin, helping to shed skin cells and
soften and improve the appearance of dry, scaly skin. Keratolysis: decreases corneocytic cohesion, facilitating the exfoliation of the skin and accelerating cellular replacement.
