Mandelic acid
is an AHA obtained from the hydrolysis of bitter almond extract.
Mandelic acid
has a larger molecule than glycolic acid and its pH is 3.41 (stronger than
glycolic acid, which has a pH of 3.83). Recommended for
sensitive skins that do not tolerate other
alpha-hydroxyacids.
Mandelic acid

keratolytic, and purifying properties, ideal for acne-prone skins.
