appearance

Combination skin can have an oily T-zone but a normal to dry area around the cheeks.

Or oily along the chin, jaw line and at the temples, but normal to dry skin everywhere else.

maintenance

Combination skin should be cared for as if it is a combination of two different skin types.

Combinations can be extreme with very dry patches or very oily patches which need more care with specific products for each area.

Products can reduce oil production, speed up skin cell turnover and fighting bacterial infection.

Use only water-based cosmetics if you have oily skin.

Comb or pull hair back to keep hair out of the face.

Don't squeeze, scratch, pick or rub lesions, since they can increase skin damage.

Wash your hands before and after touching skin lesions to reduce the chance of infection.
Don't rest your face on your hands. This irritates the skin of the face.

Avoid greasy cosmetics or creams, which can aggravate acne.
